ANOTHER round of grants are up for grabs across the Northern Beaches.
For its seventh year, Northern Beaches Council and the grants program will fund projects from environmental groups, sporting clubs, not-for-profits, artists, and local individuals. The program is in place to support vital projects, along with enriching and sustainably maintaining the community.
‘The grants program assists a wide range of projects with the aim of the strengthening the collective environmental, economic, social community and cultural experience,’ says Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins. ‘The selection process is rigorous and comprehensive, selecting projects with strong merit, that fit the criteria of the category, meet our sustainability requirements and enhance outcomes for the community.’
Grant categories for the 2024/2025 season include Arts and Creativity, up to $10,000 per grant; Community Development, up to $10,000 per grant; Environmental, up to $5,000 per grant; Placemaking, up to $4,000 per grant; and Sports and Recreation Infrastructure, from $10,000 to $30,000 per grant.
All grant applications excluding the Sports and Infrastructure Grant will close Monday, August 5th 2024. The Sports and Infrastructure Grant applications close Friday, August 9th 2024.
