Is there a benefit to simply believe?

Do we ever think of the benefit of simply believing?  It seems almost too simple to fathom.  Our relationship with belief is something that evolves through life, a bond that we savour, and a bond that we constantly question.  Believing is one of the hardest things to fathom, as our minds are sometimes too clever to allow ourselves to do so.  Our brains are built to recognise things we see and hear, it is also intelligent enough to perceive things in ways that are unique.

We can discover belief when we are at our point of weakness.  And while we have every right to question, reflect & reconsider what purpose belief serves us, if we considered a world without a belief in something, well, it would be just….. empty.

Whether it be within the bounds of our belief in a God, or through our own values, it is through belief we determine our purpose in life. That despite what is laid before us, there is a possibility to conceive something different.

A possibility of choice, A possibility of freedom.

As suddenly we can build hope just when we feel all is lost, that somewhere outside our current circumstances, there is something else we can strive for.

To have belief is an aspiration, as it just takes one step at a time to lift ourselves from our abyss.  To simply believe we can persevere our way through life, our navigator when the road beyond is not clear.  It can pave the way to stare within our souls that sets our values.

It is from the narrows of our necessity that our belief looms larger, and our blood forms thicker.

Are you looking for hope and to rekindle your ability to believe?
