Mosman Council have upgraded the facilities at Reid Park.

The new and upgraded playground now features an interactive nature play area, other inclusive play equipment, soft-fall surfacing, and a shade sail.

The project was funded by Council and the NSW Government through the Local Small Commitments Allocation – Playground and Park Upgrades program. Residents werefree to access the site and the refurbishment from the first weekend in April.

‘The playground upgrade was developed in consultation with the community, with valuable ideas and feedback incorporated into the design,’ says Mayor Ann Marie Kimber. ‘It’s wonderful to see our young residents now enjoying this revitalised space.’

Reid Park was officially opened in the presence of Mayor Kimber and other councilloes, Council staff, State Member for North Shore Feicility Wilson, and representatives from the organisations that had a hand in the park’s facelift.
