Across Ku-ring-gai, nearly 40 activities and events will be held to celebrate Seniors Week.

From 3 to the 16 of March, Ku-ring-gai Council are brining river cruises, ballet lessons, jazz concerts, and guest speakers and talks.

Ku-ring-gai Council’s 2025 Seniors Festival is a way to recognise the value of older residents in the area and within the community.

‘I encourage all Ku-ring-gai residents who are over the age of 55 to check out the wide variety of fun and educational 2025 Seniors Festival activities,’ says Ku-ring-gai Council Mayor, Christine Kay.

Some highlights include a visit to the Sydney Tramway Museum at Loftus, cruises on the Hawkesbury River and Parramatta River, a jazz performance at the Eryldene Historic House in Gordon, talks on the future of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, environmental and citizen science projects, and activities to promote flexibility, balance, mental agility, and co-ordination.
