It’s been truly heart-warming to see how the North Shore community has rallied around our Matildas, showing unwavering support as our girls continue to dominate on the field.
As this edition of The Post goes to print, the buzz in the air is palpable, with excitement building as the team prepares to face off against the English ‘Lionesses’ in the semi-finals on Wednesday night. It’s moments like these that bring us all together, united in Australian passion. Let’s cheer our Matilda girls on!
September is shaping up to be full of community events. Willoughby City Council will host their annual Emerge Festival commencing on 1st September (featured on page 9). This local festival is the largest cultural and entertainment celebration on the North Shore and I certainly won’t be missing it! Whether it’s the markets that you love, or visual art exhibitions, entertainment, film and music performances… there is something for everyone.
Another wonderful annual event takes place in September… the seedling sale at the Turramurra Community Look out Garden on 2nd September and it’s a great way to kick off spring and grow your own vege’s, I’ve been several times now and I’ll be finding time to go again this year.
I also take this opportunity to wish my precious daughter a very happy birthday this week!
