Sunset Cinema welcomed back at St Ives Showground

The Sunset Cinema is one of the first events to welcome movie lovers back. New film titles including new comedy Free Guy, animated adventure Ron’s Gone Wrong and Marvel’s latest action Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the public can once again experience movies on the big screen.

Classics such as Grease and The Greatest Showman will also show.

From Wednesday through Sunday across six weeks, patrons can savour the spring evenings with meals from the food trucks on site along with refreshing drinks, sweet treats and Sunset’s famous freshly popped popcorn.

With Ku-ring-gai being the first council area in NSW to reach the 70% full vaccination milestone, Mayor Dr Cedric Spencer said local residents would be keen to experience the big screen in a safe outdoors environment.
