One of the Upper North Shore’s most anticipated spring traditions is returning to the manicured grounds of Wahroonga Park on Sunday, October 25. Celebrating its 12th anniversary.

The Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival will run from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, transforming the local precinct into a vibrant outdoor market of NSW produce, boutique spirits, craft beer, gourmet food, and live entertainment.

In Short

  • 12th annual return: The Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival returns to Wahroonga Park on Sunday, October 25, running from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Regional offerings: Features over 30 NSW wineries showcasing more than 130 drops, alongside small-batch distillers, craft breweries, and an expansive gourmet food market.
  • Free community day: The event is free, dog-friendly, and open to all ages, featuring live music from the park's iconic central rotunda and optional pre-purchased wine tasting packages.

This year’s festival boasts more than 30 renowned NSW wineries showcasing over 130 premium and award-winning drops.

Attendees can sip their way through sparkling, white, rosé, and red varieties while chatting directly with cellar door teams and winemakers. The 2026 lineup spans the state’s premier wine regions, bringing top producers from the Hunter Valley, Mudgee, Orange, the Central Ranges, and the Southern Highlands straight to the North Shore.

Beyond the vineyard offerings, small-batch distillers will showcase handcrafted Australian spirits, alongside refreshing craft beers and ales poured by favorites like Sydney Brewery and Six Strings Brewing Co.

The gourmet food lineup is equally expansive, designed to pair effortlessly with the afternoon’s pours. Visitors can feast on fresh Sydney Rock oysters, slow-cooked BBQ, Greek souvla, Japanese dishes, Spanish paella, and Vietnamese street food, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options scattered throughout. For those with a sweet tooth, Portuguese pastries, freshly made crepes, gelato, and honey balls will be on offer.

Adding to the day’s appeal, the popular Artisan Producer Alley will feature stallholders selling local condiments, handcrafted homewares, and gourmet gifts. Meanwhile, live music will echo from Wahroonga Park’s iconic central rotunda, where a rotating roster of local musicians, contemporary performers, and school ensembles will set a relaxed, festive backdrop with jazz and acoustic hits.

“For 12 years, the Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival has brought people together to enjoy exceptional NSW wine, delicious food, and live music in one of Sydney’s most beautiful public parks. It gives visitors the opportunity to meet the people behind the labels and enjoy a welcoming community day., says Festival Producer Margot Natoli.

The event is free, dog-friendly (on leads), and open to all ages. Those looking to sample the wines can pre-purchase a Wine Tasting Package starting at $39.50, which includes a branded festival glass and five tasting tickets for express pickup on the day.
