Community projects around the Willoughby electorate have been granted $450,000 in funding under the NSW Government’s 2025 Community Building Partnership Program.
Fifteen projects are benefitting from the CBP Program. These include:
- Cammeray Public School and a playground upgrade
- Artarmon Public School and modern water station installations at Thompson Oval
- Chatswood Rangers Sports Club and a lighting upgrade to Chatswood High School Oval
- Willougby Community Preschool and the replacement of a its air-conditioning unit
- Willoughby Park Bowling & Recreation Club with the installation of an all-weather shade
- Chatswood Bowling Club and equipment replacement
- Willoughby Arts Centre and upgrade to the washroom facilities
- Cammeray Golf Club with improvements to the indoor and outdoor spaces
- Streetwork Australia will purchase equipment for youth outreach
- Northbridge Macarthur Bulls FC Foundation will purchase new training equipment
- St Paul’s Anglican Church, Chatswood with sonar panels
- 1st Sailors Bay Sea Scouts, Castlecrag and boatshed gutter and roof upgrades
- Lower North Shore Community Transport with the installation of accessible steps in the bus
- St Mark’s Anglican Church, Northbridge with a hall refurbishment
- St Basil’s Anglican Church, Artarmon and an outdoor enhancement and kitchen upgrade
‘These grants will deliver grassroots improvements across a wide range of local facilities, clubs, schools and community organisations,’ said Member for Willoughby, Tim James. ‘It’s fantastic to have secured this funding to support their work and help strengthen the places that bring us together.’
