Treetops St Ives hits new heights

On Saturday, November 13, Treetops Adventure St Ives hosted a VIP open day before officially opened to the public.

My children were fortunate to be able to enjoy this experience and absolutely loved it. This would make a great family day out – even better with no devices at hand and getting back to nature.

The park offers a great escape for kids with hours of fun and adventure amidst the tree tops.

The opportunity is there for kids to either challenge themselves or play it safe with several different options available depending on the confidence of the child, or adult for that matter.

The park features a high ropes adventure with flying foxes and suspension bridges, that will test you mentally and physically.

With over 100 aerial obstacles to explore, you’ll move onwards and upwards on a self-guided tour through the Australian bush, whilst tackling activities suspended 2 to 25 metres high.

Treetops Adventure St Ives is part of the multi-million-dollar re-design of the St Ives showground undertaken by Ku-ring-gai Council which will turn the area into an environmental hub including walking tracks, community gardens, a café and playground and will offer workshops to educate visitors on environmental awareness.

The park is designed for a wide range of ages and physical abilities with specially designed activities for visitors from three to seven years old, eight to 17-year-olds and over-18s and with lockdown behind us, it provides Sydneysiders with another reason to embrace the outdoors and reconnect with one another.

Treetops is an all-weather activity and open all weekend as
well as week days, only closing during thunderstorms and strong winds.
