Pymble Public School are inviting all families to keep or start collecting small glass bottles, cans, juice boxes (poppers) and small plastic drink containers.
They must have the 10c label still on and be in good condition. Each container is worth 10c when returned at one of these machines.
Until April 3, 2022, Pymble Public School P&C is listed as a donation option for people to donate their refunds to, simply press “DONATE” directly on the screen and select our school.
The funds raised will go towards solar panels for the school to complement the Solar My Schools Grant (Pymble Public School has just been announced as a successful applicant) and additional funds the P&C will be contributing. Aiming to fundraise $2000, Pymble Public School are asking the community to get involved and support the school and their target.
Pymble Public School is now a Local Donation Partner at three local Return and Earn Machines:
- Turramurra Coles Carpark
- St Ives Shopping Centre near Star Carwash on Mona Vale Road
- Macquarie Shopping Centre.
To incentivise children from school to participate, there is a “Pizza Party” competition running for the next six weeks for the class with the highest number of items donated, along with a “Poster Design Competition” where students have the opportunity for their poster design to be used around the community to promote the
Return and Earn program and donate to PPS.
