Editor’s Word Edition 62

December 2024

Welcome to December!

As I am sure you noticed, some exciting news for the people of Berowra.

The Post’s Publisher, Tina Brown, has officially announced her campaign to run in the 2025 federal election as Berowra’s Community Independent. You can read about her decision and what core values Tina will hold dear during her campaign above.

As a hyperlocal, independent newsmagazine, The Post and Tina Brown’s candidacy will remain separate.

I look forward to reporting on the federal election and wish Tina the best of luck with her run!

But, back to December.

News includes an exclusive profile article on Ku-ring-gai Mayor Christine Kay, an update on Marian Street Theatre and the TODS, and a brief summary of the dramas of New Line Road.

In Community, we interviewed Hornsby’s Westfield Hero, Sian Gordon, and have an article about MoWaNa, the Northern Beaches Safe Space.

We are giving away tickets to the Camerata Academica of the Antipodes Christmas performance. See our “CHRISTMAS” page for more.

Thank you for reading The Post this year. We appreciate your interest and commitment to the news we deliver for our local communities in the North Shore.

Have a Merry Christmas, and a lovely New Year. You’ll hear from me (or rather, read from me) in 2025!

Until the next edition,
