A Thornleigh man has won $100,000 from a free lottery ticket.
Drawn on Tuesday 7 January, the local resident received the 1st prize in the Lucky Lotteries’ Super Jackpot 10912.
‘I’m overwhelmed with excitement,’ said the Thornleigh man when he found he had won. ‘I’ll be able to take a solid chuck off my mortgage… I’m going to have to leave work early.’
Each game has two draws. The first determines the winning numbers and the other determines the jackpot number.
Last financial year, official lotteries contributed more than $1.8 billion to community initiatives, hospitals, health initiatives, education, and disaster relief through state lottery taxes and donations.
