Ku-ring-gai Citizen of the Year Nominations Now Open

Council calls for nominations to honour local community volunteers, environmental champions, and quiet achievers across the North Shore.

ENTRIES are now open for the Ku-ring-gai Council Local Citizen of the Year Awards, celebrating local residents and groups who have made a real difference in the community over the past year.

Every year, Council honours the volunteers, quiet achievers and local leaders whose generosity and commitment help strengthen the Ku-ring-gai community.

  • Nominations Open: Ku-ring-gai Council is inviting nominations to recognise residents and groups making an outstanding local impact.
  • Four Award Categories: Recognising Citizen of the Year (25+), Young Citizen (16–25), Environmental Citizen, and the Mayor's Award.
