A professional and an entrepreneur, Henry Song has a background in and deep knowledge of the technology, financial market, and clean energy industries. With Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in science, a Diploma in Financial Markets, and Professional Certificates in Sustainable Finance and Net-Zero Principles, Henry is prepared to address the key issues across Ku-ring-gai.
A resident of the Gordon Ward, Henry lives in Killara with his wife and son, and has first-hand insight into the challenges and hopeful ambitions of the community.
Henry Song vows, when elected, to manage growth in Ku-ring-gai, face the increasing housing density issues, promote smart planning and sustainable development, and address the pressures on amenities, traffic, and open spaces.
He will ensure Ku-ring-gai Council manages funds efficiently and transparently to deliver projects that better the community while holding Council accountable.
Supporting the unique needs of Ku-ring-gai’s children, seniors, and residents with diverse backgrounds is a top priority. Henry is dedicated to enhancing recreational spaces, providing resources for seniors, and increasing culturally diverse initiatives.
