July is shaping up as one of the biggest and most exciting months of the season at North Sydney Oval, with three massive Sunday game days that celebrate everything we love about the North Sydney Bears – family, tradition, community and great rugby league.
The action kicks off on Sunday 5 July when the Bears take on the Newtown Jets in our annual Members Round. This special day is an opportunity to recognise and thank the loyal members who continue to stand proudly behind the club. Their passion and support are the foundation of the Bears, and we encourage all members and supporters to wear their colours with pride and help fill the hill.
A week later, on Sunday 12 July, we host one of the most anticipated events on the calendar – Bears Legends Day. As we face our old rivals, the Manly Sea Eagles, generations of former players will return to North Sydney Oval to reconnect, share memories and celebrate the rich history of our great club. It promises to be a nostalgic and memorable afternoon for Bears fans of all ages.
The month concludes on Sunday 26 July with our Danny Met Sally Round against the Dragons. This inspiring event shines a spotlight on inclusion, accessibility and the incredible work of our community partners supporting people with disability. It is a day that reflects the values of the Bears and demonstrates the power of sport to bring people together.
