IN early December 2023, Anglicare officially opened a residential care home in Gordon.
Roden Cutler Lodge opens after a six-year redevelopment of Lady Gowrie village, featuring 107 rooms, 40 retirement living units, a heritage-listed mansion, and community facilities. In the newly named Gordon Quarter, residents and visitors of Roden Cutler Lodge are amongst the heritage-listed Mediterranean-style mansion, Burnham Thorpe.
‘We are thrilled for our newest home to be officially opened and honoured to have the late Sir Roden Cutler’s son, Anthony, in attendance to speak about the significance of the home’s name,’ says Anglicare CEO, Simon Miller.
Anglicare Sydney is a not-for-profit Christian provider. Anglicare provide residential aged care home, home care services, retirement communities, housing for people over 55, disaster relief, services for children and families, and research and advocacy.
‘There is a 40-year history of life-enriching care on this site and Roden Cutler Lodge continues this legacy for a new generation,’ says Simon Miller.
