BENDIGO Bank want customers safe as they transition to digital banking.
Lindfield & Districts Community Bank are holding a “Banking Safely Online” Information Session. The session will allow members in the community to learn about common scams, protecting personal and private information, how to use digital controls, and how to manage risk associated with the digital world.
As scams and scammers become more sophisticated with deception, it is imperative internet banking customers are informed. Reported scams in 2022 amounted to over $3 billion in losses, victims coming from all walks of life.
Anyone, even those who are not Bendigo Bank customers, are eligible to attend the information session.
‘Ensuring our customers and community feel safe and confident when using digital banking is a priority for us,’ says Michele Ferris, Branch Operations Manager.
The Banking Safely Online session will be held on Tuesday the 26th of March at 4.30pm at the branch. Lindfield & Districts Community Bank is located at 318 Pacific Highway, Lindfield.
