LEADER of the New South Wales Opposition, Mark Speakman MP, has appointed a new Shadow Minister for Small Business in NSW.
Formally held by Member for Goulburn, Wendy Tuckerman MP, the position will now be assumed by Member for Willoughby, Tim James MP.
This is an addition to Member James and his current role as Shadow Minister for Fair Trading, Work Health, and Safety and Building.
‘Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, driving innovation, creating jobs and fostering community spirit,’ says Member Tim James. ‘As someone who has run my own small business, I have a sense of the demands, pressures and potential of small business. I look forward to working closely with business owners and staff, chambers of commerce, industry groups and all relevant stakeholders to advance small business across NSW.’
