Berowra Calling: Why I’m Standing Up

In response to recent allegations made by a Journalist at the Daily Telegraph, The Post would like to clarify the role of the Publisher of The Post, Tina Brown.
In The Post’s 2024 September edition, I had officially stepped away from my role as editor. All editorial responsibilities were handed to the current editor, Claudia Butjerevic.
Readers will recall the reason was to broaden my horizons, and take up a new venture that I was, and still am, interested in: women’s business coaching.
‘My journey has taken me from a corporate career to running a student services business, and during COVID, launching a hyper-local publication. I’ve faced all the highs and lows along the way,’ excerpt taken from The Post’s 2024 September edition.
“Tina Brown Coaching” was a way to connect with likeminded women and business professionals across Sydney. This change came long before my decision to run as a community independent in the 2025 federal election.
Now, my focus has shifted to the seat of Berowra, and its desperate need for proper representation.
Though, as a small business owner, I continue to have operational and administrative commitments to The Post. Many business owners will know the responsibility of managing a team, and how commitments do not simply fade away.

  • All editorial content is the responsibility of Claudia Butjerevic.
  • All sales and advertising are the responsibility of J’ Ma.

My role as publisher remains, but my focus is now on serving the community of Berowra and delivering meaningful change.

In response to the recent allegations made by the Daily Telegraph regarding the withdrawal of paid for content by the Liberal Party Local Members of Parliament, The Post wishes to advise the following:

  1.  All advertisements paid for through electoral allowances were published in the Post’s print edition as contracted. Each advertisement was accompanied by a tear sheet providing verification of publication, and all funds received were fully expended on the agreed print advertising services. No digital advertising services were included in these arrangements.
  2. All services were delivered exactly as specified in the relevant invoices and agreements.

In October 2024 The Post made a shift from hkpost.com.au to thepost.sydney and at this time changed hosting providers and no longer continues to publish content beyond approximately 12 months prior to this time.
