Raise Foundation are bringing their youth mentoring program back for 2025.
Founded in 2008, Raise Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation mentoring young people who show signs of disengagement. Since their inception, Raise has matched over 15,000 youth people to mentors in six states and in over 180 high schools.
With accredited training and full supervision from a Program Counsellor, Raise educate their mentors for them to best to serve young people.
For 2025, Raise are running two Youth Mentoring programs in Ku-ring-gai. The first program commences on the 25thof February, ending on the 5th of August. The second program commences on the 19th of August, ending on the 4th of November.
Ku-ring-gai High School is running the programs on Tuesday afternoons.
Raise are searching for mentors at other schools in the area. These programs will commence at the end of April, with applications closing the end of March.
Schools recruiting mentors are Hornsby Girls High School, Pennant Hills High School, Asquith Boys High School, and Asquith Girls High School.
