Truffle Heaven in Gordon: Bar Infinita’s Winter Menu

Just a stone’s throw from Gordon train station and with convenient parking in the nearby public car park, Bar Infinita is a beautifully executed blend of style, flavour, and welcoming hospitality.

This winter, they’re serving up a decadent Truffle Menu that runs from 10th June to mid-August, featuring premium truffles sourced from The Truffle Farm in Canberra.

The restaurant has a simple yet stylish layout, cleverly designed to maximise space without feeling crowded. Whether you’re dining as a couple or with the whole family, the setting is relaxed, polished, and perfectly suited to a cosy winter meal. The staff are attentive and friendly, with a genuine enthusiasm for the seasonal menu and a great understanding of the dishes they serve.

I started with the wood-fired pizzetta, generously topped with truffle and parmesan fondue. Crisp, savoury, and full of aroma, it was the perfect way to awaken the palate.  But the real magic began with the House made Truffle Gnocchi—soft, pillowy, and so delicate they melt in your mouth. Coated in a rich, creamy truffle sauce, the gnocchi delivered a perfect balance of indulgence and comfort. It’s the kind of dish you think about long after the plate is cleared.

Just when I thought the meal couldn’t get better, dessert arrived: the “Trufflemisu”. This clever take on a classic Italian tiramisu combined layers of mascarpone and coffee cream, topped with liberal shavings of fresh truffle. The result was unexpectedly sublime—earthy, sweet, creamy, and complex. An absolute highlight and worth visiting for this alone.

Bar Infinita is open most days from 4.30pm and also offers lunch service on Saturdays and Sundays, making it easy to find time to indulge in this seasonal feast. The Truffle Menu is available alongside their full à la carte menu, so there’s something for everyone.

Bar Infinita has created something really special this winter. Whether you’re a truffle lover or simply looking for a comforting and beautifully presented meal, this is one to book in before the season ends.
