Australia Day celebrations are scheduled across Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai.

Fagan Park in Galston will feature food trucks, live performance, and water activities.

Citizenship Ceremonies for Hornsby residents will take place at 10.430am on the main stage, followed by Gawura cultural displays. Afterwards, The Funky Monkeys will perform, followed by The Lily Guerrero Band.

Other activities include a slip ‘n’ slide, a dunk tank, and bubble machines.

Volunteer group, Friends of Fagan Heritage Area are showcasing Fagan Park’s history with heritage vehicles, the Netherby Homestead, and blacksmithing.

In Ku-ring-gai, Citizenship Ceremonies are taking place at Knox Grammar School.

At the Ku-ring-gai Fitness & Aquatic Centre, Council will host a poll party with face painting, inflatables, a poolside DJ, and a BBQ. Entry is a gold coin donation.

Both celebrations are made possible by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council.
