The Raising Children Network have newly released a free, personalised app to help parents and carers raise resilient children.
Co-designed by parents, experts, and funded by the Australian Government, the “Raising Healthy Minds” app offers articles, videos, and animations for carers of children aged 0-12. Information can be tailored to suit the child’s age, so advice is relevant to each age group.
‘The research behind Raising Healthy Minds builds on the evidence-based parenting resources that Raising Children Network has developed over the last nearly 20 years,’ said Director of Raising Children Network, Derek McCormack. ‘We all experience the ups and downs of life for different reasons, including children, and what the Raising Healthy Minds app offers is an opportunity to take a question or concern by a parent and get answers as to what they can do, when to be concerned and where to go to next for support.’
