Get ready to shine! New South Wales celebrates Seniors Week showcasing incredible contributions and vibrant lives of our senior citizens. This year’s theme, “Time to Shine,” perfectly captures the essence of this special occasion – a chance for seniors to showcase their talents, share their stories, and radiate their unique brilliance.

From informative workshops and engaging social gatherings to cultural performances and recreational activities, Seniors Week offers a diverse program of events across the state. Whether you’re a retiree looking to explore new passions, a case manager seeking enriching experiences for your clients, or an occupational therapist wanting to connect with the community, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

At Karis Life, we understand the importance of maintaining independence, mobility, and dignity as we age. That’s why we’re proud to support Seniors Week and its mission to empower seniors to live fulfilling lives. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to shine, regardless of age or ability.

As part of our commitment to supporting seniors, Karis Life hosts the “Live Life Better: Seminar for Seniors”. This informative and engaging seminar will cover a range of topics relevant to seniors’ well-being, including:

  • Maintaining independence and mobility
  • Accessing assistive technology and support services.
  • Staying active and engaged in the community
  • Tips for healthy aging
  • And much more!

The seminar will feature expert speakers, interactive sessions, and opportunities to connect with other seniors. It’s a valuable chance to gain knowledge, ask questions, and discover resources to help you live life to the fullest. These engaging sessions can be conveniently organized within the comfort of your own residential community or as part of a community group. For more details and to reserve your spot, connect with us at 1300 662 880 or drop us an email at [email protected] or visit www.KarisLife.com.au/resources/seminars/live-life-better

Let’s make Seniors Week 2025 a resounding success, filled with laughter, joy, and the radiant spirit of our seniors. It’s their time to shine, and we’re here to celebrate alongside them.
