COUNCILLOR Dr Cedric Spencer, representative for the Wahroonga Ward, will run in the Local Government Elections this September.

Deeply passionate and considered, incumbent Councillor Spencer is determined to advocate for the concerns of the local community. Councillor Spencer is unafraid to go against the grain, speaking his mind in service of the best interests of Ku-ring-gai.

Elected for the first time in 2017, Councillor Spencer has served two terms for Ku-ring-gai Council, in which he stood as both Mayor and Deputy Mayor. Throughout his term in Council, he has been appointed to the Ku-ring-gai Traffic Committee as Chairperson and serves as a member for the Sydney North Planning Panel.

With a Doctorate in Business Administration, Graduate Diplomas in Law and Transport and Distribution Management, a Master of Business, and qualifications as a Juris Doctor, Councillor Spencer is an accomplished solicitor with a law firm located in the Upper North Shore. Living in Turramurra with his wife and young child, Cedric is focused on ensuring ratepayers’ funds are adequately optimised to tend to community needs.

Affectionately calling the Wahroonga Ward “home”, Councillor Spencer is committed to the betterment of his Ward and all of Ku-ring-gai and bridging the gap between Council and its constituents.
