The 2025 recipient of Ku-ring-gai’s Inaugural Women’s Leadership and Inspiration Award is Andrea Doney.
This award is a way to celebrate local women, and honour locals who lead, inspire, and empower the community.
Andrew Doney is the founder of Run with the Slow Coach, a local coaching business supporting slower, older,beginner, and returning runners. As well as this, Andrea helped co-found the North Shore Run Club, a free and welcoming community running group that now has over 1,500 members.
The Highly Commended award was presented to Cate Sinclair, CEO of The Northern Centre, where she advocates for families and for women and children impacted by domestic violence.
