Australia Day at Fagan Park saw 93 new Australians welcomed in a citizenship ceremony.
Hornsby Shire councillors Janelle McIntosh, Jane Seaglove, Verity Greenwood, Olivia Simons and Matthew Conley, as well as Mayor Warren Waddell and Deputy Mayor Sallianne McClelland attended the ceremony. Federal Member Julian Leeser for Berowra and State Member James Wallace for Hornsby were in attendance.
Fagan Park festivities continued throughout the day with family picnics, food trucks, a water play area, and a sausage sizzle hosted by the Friends of Fagan Park. There were multicultural concerts featuring Gawura Cultural Immersions, The Funky Monkeys, and Lily Guerrero & Band as well as heritage displays at Netherby Cottage.
