A brand-new multipurpose indoor sports centre at St Ives High School is now open and ready for bookings.

Ku-ring-gai Council partnered with the NSW Government and Schools Infrastructure NSW to deliver the facility.

‘Ku-ring-gai Council is delighted this partnership has created a brand-new facility accessible to everyone in our community,’ said Ku-ring-gai Mayor Christine Kay.

The sports facility includes four indoor courts, a multipurpose room for meetings and activities, modern amenities, and a café.

‘With our growing population and increasing demand for recreational spaces, Council continues to invest in upgrading and building multipurpose sporting facilities across Ku-ring-gai,’ said the Mayor.

Outside school hours, the facility will be operated by Belgravia Leisure, a provider in the recreation sector. With an emphasis on delivering programs with inclusivity and community in mind, Belgravia has over 30 years of experience in managing more than 260 sports, leisure and tourism sites across Australia and New Zealand.

‘Belgravia Leisure is proud to partner with Ku-ring-gai Council to manage this outstanding facility,’ said Belgravia Leisure CEO Nick Cox. ‘We look forward to working with the St Ives community to support their health and wellbeing.’
