It serves as a vital welfare check, every single delivery comes with a warm smile and a friendly word. For families, knowing a volunteer is checking in on their parent or grandparent provides invaluable reassurance.

The Village Chef is adaptable to their clients’ lives. With two delivery windows a day, five days a week. Choice remains central for their clients who can select a variety of fresh or frozen meals delivered from The Village Chef’s Turramurra Kitchen.

Behind this seamless operation is a powerhouse team of 70 volunteers – 60 of whom hold down regular shifts. The Village Chef works with their dedicated volunteers enjoying a wonderful, supportive rapport.
