After a year of renovations, Apple Chatswood Chase has officially reopened its doors with a fresh new look.
From Thursday the 30th of October, customers on the Lower North Shore can visit Chatswood Chase for their Apple needs.
First opening in 2008, the store has been a part of the North Shore for 17 years and was the second Apple store to open in Australia. Focused on sustainability and sleek design, the new renovations have reimagined the Chatswood space. The space features terrazzo flooring, timber wall panels, hearing loops for those with auditory difficulties, a fibreglass baffle ceiling sustainably made from sugar cane to improve acoustics, and is powered entirely by 100 per cent renewable energy.
to experience the reopening. Chatswood local William Sung was first in line, arriving at 6am with a chair to wait. William has been an Apple fanatic for a long while, even queuing overnight for the iPhone 4S at Apple George Street. Apple Chatswood Chase is his first Apple store opening event.
‘As a local, I have to support this opening. That’s why I’m here,’ said William. On the new look of the store, William said, ‘This is such an upgrade. You feel more connected to nature, you feel more Zen. It’s so nice.’
Apple Chatswood Chase stands as a model for the future of Apple retail stores in Australia.
