APPLICATIONS are now open to showcase art, design, and music with the return of Creative Open this winter (25-28 July) to fire up the Northern Beaches with live gigs, exhibitions, talks, gatherings, comedy, markets, performances, and public art.

Now in its third year the event activates shops, galleries, venues, and open spaces bringing to life precincts across the beaches over the four-day festival.

Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins said last year’s creative event saw 6,000 visitors attend 50 events.

“If you’re a creative and want to connect with new audiences, promote your business and network with the local community and creative sector, now is the time to apply.” Mayor Heins said.

This year’s festival will offer the most diverse program yet and will celebrate dynamic visual and performance artists, and live acts.

Applications open on 29 January 2024 and close on 3 March 2024.
