Letter-Writing for Indigenous Youth Justice
Letter-Writing for
Indigenous Youth Justice
Reconciliation Week emphasizes action from all of us. This includes challenging laws that adversely affect First Nations people.
Amnesty International is pushing to change laws across Australia to raise the age of criminal responsibility to 14, ensuring children aged 10 to 13 are no longer incarcerated. Current laws disproportionately affect Indigenous children and go against the United Nations Rights of the Child.
