To welcome the Christmas season, an ecumenical choir performance of the best-loved highlights of Handel’s Messiah will again be presented in Hornsby.
Hornsby Messiah is a group of passionate choristers performing Handel’s oratorio ‘Messiah’, singing the story of Jesus Christ. Since 2009, the choir have been performing every year and donating the proceeds to local charities.
The funds raised will be presented to the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter and Beecroft House.
Hornsby Messiah are looking for choristers for this year’s 11 December performance at Holy Name Catholic Church Wahroonga. No audition or choir experience is required.
Rehearsals are at St Swithun’s Anglican Church Wednesday 5, 12, 19, 26 November & 3 December.
Final rehearsal at Holy Name Catholic Church Wahroonga Wednesday 10 December.
