From the period of July 2024 to June 2025, the Royal North Shore Hospital Menopause Hub treated about 1,900 patients.
Under the Northern Suburbs Local Health District, the Menopause Hub is a specialist facility that provides care for women experiencing severe or complex menopausal symptoms. The service is public and free at the Royal North Shore Hospital.
To be seen, patients need to be referred to the clinic by their GP. Though the hospital resides in Sydney’s North, NSLHD note that referrals for the Menopause Hub come from across the city, from Northern Sydney, Western Sydney, from the Central Coast, and Far West NSW.
‘Women experiencing symptoms of menopause should consult their GP in the first instance,’ says a NSHLD spokesperson.
