The Post started out as a tabloid newspaper, The Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Post in September 2020. This was delivered across the two LGA’s of Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai later increasing the footprint to the north shore. We did this at a time when over 220 sub-metro publications ceased printing, at a time when people in communities needed to feel connected more than ever before.
We have followed issues within the community relating to health including mental health, voluntary assisted dying, little known cancers such as cholangiocarcinoma and so much more. I’ts been a joy to back causes that benefit our own community directly such as suicide prevention, domestic violence and respect for women and mens mental health initiatives.
To start the publication we ran a competition and invited local schools to contribute with original artwork for the logo design. A young lady from Loreto Normanhurst won the prize and her logo was in use for the first year of publicaiton.
Right from the first editoin the Community Bank Lindfield & Districts (then of Turramurra and Lindfield) were on board to support local and from the first edition they have advertised in every edition and it’s been our pleasure to work with such a caring and professional team who are always here for the community.
