International Women’s Day is the 8th of March. For this edition, we have included some special women’s pages, where we showcase some influential women in the community, and feature some relevant women’s health issues.
At the same time, NSW Seniors’ Week is from the 3rd to the 16th of March. We have included senior pages to celebrate.
I’d like to take the opportunity to welcome David Bone, counsellor at Straight Talk Australia Counselling, who has joined The Post as a columnist. His first column is an interesting look into alcoholism in suburbia.
We profile the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community College, Mathew Ferraro from Stone Real Estate Hornsby, and feature Karen Humphries’ World Cholangio Day event.
Anja Lineen, Menopause expert from The Wellbeing Kit, and the Honourable Philip Ruddock AO have written in and shared some of their expertise.
Our publisher, Tina Brown, was born in March, so a happy birthday is in order! If there was ever an influential woman across the North Shore of Sydney, it would be Tina. Her tenacity, love for community, and humble attitude have impacted not only myself, but any who have had the pleasure to meet her.
Happy happy happy birthday, Tina!
Until the next edition,
