APPLICATIONS are now open for creative grants in North Sydney.
Artists, not-for-profit organisations, and groups are able to apply for grants up to $4,000 for creative projects and initiatives that will be presented to the North Sydney local government area.
These grants can be used both on new projects and projects already underway.
Funding is part of North Sydney Council’s 2024 Creative Grants program. The program aims to increase community participation in creativity, providing local artists with the opportunity to create large-scale projects. All artists, regardless of their speciality, are able to apply for the grants – from visual to performing arts creatives.
Successful projects will be presented in the spring of 2024. Artists can nominate community spaces or Council venues to present their work once complete.
