JAX Tyres & Auto Thornleigh Celebrates 15 Years of Trusted Service

A man wearing a black shirt with a "JAX" logo on it stands behind a counter at a JAX Tyres & Auto shop. The counter is glass, and on it are a computer monitor, keyboard, and various promotional materials. To the right of the man, a sign reads "Put a Cap on Breast Cancer!" with a pink ribbon logo. Behind the man, a large vertical sign with red lettering says "JAX TYRES & AUTO." In the background, tires and other auto parts are visible.

JAX Tyres & Auto Thornleigh is celebrating 15 years delivering trusted service to local drivers. Franchisee, Mark Dyball, is honouring the anniversary this month.

Dyball took over the Thornleigh location from his father in 2010, having first joined the wider JAX organisation in 1989. Now, he’s mentoring his own son as an apprentice, hoping to inspire a third generation to take the wheel.

Over the last 15 years, they have supported a number of local organisations and projects, including the Pennant Hills Lawn Bowls Club and Hotel Pennant Hills. In the coming months, the store will also offer free in-house seminars for local residents to learn basic vehicle maintenance skills like changing a tyre and checking their oil.

‘It’s a significant milestone to reach 15 years at the helm of the business,’ Mr Dyball says. ‘My father laid such incredible foundations and taught me so much while he was in charge. I just hope I’ve made him proud. I’ve always thought it’s important for local businesses to support local organisations and be an active member of the community.’

Under Mr Dyball’s tenure, the business has continued to evolve. Recently, JAX has invested in a wheel repair machine, which restores rims damaged by potholes. Mr Dyball is determined to ensure his operation caters to the widest range of drivers possible.

JAX Tyres & Auto has been operating since 1949. Beginning its franchising journey in 1993, the company has grown into a national network of 94 locations, 85 of which are independently owned by franchisees. Today, the brand supports over 1,000 employees across Australia.
