Killara local Logan McArthur is set to take the role of King Henry in the Sydney Shakespeare Company’s production Henry VI trilogy.
These plays skyrocketed playwright Shakespeare’s career in the late 16th century. Henry IV Parts 1, 2 and 3 tell the tale of Henry VI’s reign as King of England, and showcases the monarch’s downfall and involvement in the War of the Roses between the Houses Lancaster and York.
Throughout July, Sydney Shakespeare Company are premiering the production at Flow Studios, Camperdown. Actor Logan McArthur, who has performed with the Sydney Shakespeare Company in 2016 as Paris in Romeo and Juliet, has taken the titular role of Henry VI.
