Local community groups in Sydney have received a combined $85,000 through Australia Post’s 2025 Community Grants program. North Sydney Community Centre was awarded part of the $85,000.

NSCC received $4,000 for the Creating Space program, set to deliver creative wellbeing events with safe, inclusive sessions for men and women to connect through music, art, and shared meals.

For more than 50 years, the North Sydney Community Centre (NSCC) has been a place where connection and wellbeing flourish.

As an independent, not-for-profit organisation, NSCC provides a welcoming space that values inclusion, creativity, and community. Its programs and services are designed to bring people together, nurturing both individual wellbeing and a shared sense of belonging.

The Centre offers varied and inclusive activities that support mental, social, and emotional health. Whether through creative workshops, social groups, educational programs or grassroots initiatives, NSCC provides meaningful opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage and connect.

Guided by its vision to “Connect, Care, Collaborate and Create”, NSCC fosters an environment built on kindness, respect, and sustainability.
