This season, Hornsby Heights Football Club has seen record numbers in female participation.
To acknowledge this milestone and celebrate Female Football Week 2025, HHFC hosted a special community event at Montview Oval on 22 June.
Hornsby Heights Football Club (HHFC) is a community club located on Sydney’s Upper North Shore. Currently, HHFC supports over 900 players across junior, senior, men’s, women’s, and mixed teams.
With a total of 283 female players, the highest number in the club’s history, HHFC has achieved 30% of total registrations being female.
At Montview Oval for the celebrations, HHFC hosted female teams playing at the home ground; games for visitors; food and beverages such as a BBQ, coffee, and cake stalls’ raffles and prizes; and community activities to foster atmosphere and team spirit.
