Jean Hailes ‘Women’s Health Week’ is Australia’s largest event dedicated to the health and wellbeing of all women and girls. Running from 1 to 5 September, each day focuses on a different health topic.
Monday 1 September is ‘Every check matters’ to prioritise keeping up with health checks.
Tuesday 2 September is ‘Take the lead’ to having the right knowledge and tools to get more out of every health appointment.
Wednesday 3 September is ‘Heart smart’ to talk about the ways that heart disease affects women.
Thursday 4 September is ‘Pain is power’ and how pain isn’t a part of being a woman that needs to be pushed through alone.
Friday 5 September is ‘Be kind to your mind’ about how looking after mental health is just as important as physical, bodily health.
