Michael Want, St Leonards Ward

Michael, a seasoned Project Management consultant with over 40 years in the Built Environment sector, is a strong advocate for Sustainable Development, Climate Change, and environmental stewardship.

Residing in Crows Nest after relocating from Greenwich, he is committed to community engagement, having contributed to local sports and expressing a deep passion for addressing climate change. His extensive international experience, including playing rugby internationally, complements his dedication to leaving a healthier planet for future generations.

Cr William Bourke, St Leonards Ward

William, a dedicated public servant with over 20 years in North Sydney, is a Councillor, former Deputy Mayor, and founder of the Sustainable Australia Party. His commitment to sustainability is rooted in a lifetime of enjoying and preserving Australia’s natural beauty.

He advocates for a legacy of economic, environmental, and social stability for future generations.

Sarah Kok, Cammeraygal Ward

Sarah, with 15 years of calling Cremorne home, cherishes the cultural diversity of North Sydney, acknowledging its original Cammeraygal inhabitants. Her Malaysian-Chinese heritage enriches her perspective as she seeks a council seat to prioritize environmental and community well-being. She advocates for balanced development, wary of planning biases that may disregard communal and environmental needs and opposes the State Government’s high-density housing proposals that threaten local infrastructure and housing variety.

In essence, Sarah’s candidacy is a stand for responsible development, environmental stewardship, and the celebration of North Sydney’s unique character. Her personal and professional journey underscores her dedication to fostering a community that values both progress and preservation.
