The Landowners Group of Dural Mall, Village Green and adjoining commercial properties at Round Corner Dural held a Planning Proposal meeting on the 31st of March.
Community members and interested parties were seen at the meeting, discussing amendments to the commercial zones at Round Corner. Sam Russo, representative of the Landowners Group, assert that more than 200 people were in attendance. The largest issue raised, according to Mr Russo, were traffic conditions. The Landowners believe thorough aerial imaging studies need to be conducted to find solutions to traffic congestion in and around the site. For Mr Russo, progress needs to occur so more residents can be welcomed into the area.
A Planning Proposal has been lodged. The Hills Shire Council confirms there is an application lodged, though as the relevant fees have not been paid, the planning proposal and its documents cannot be reviewed by the public.
