Bobbin Head Cycle Classic Returns This March

Cyclists of all skill levels are gearing up for the Bobbin Head Cycle Classic (Bobbo), returning on Sunday, 30 March 2025. This beloved community cycling event offers breathtaking scenery, a well-organised ride, and the chance to support vital local charities to help those in need.

Organised by the Rotary Clubs of Ku-ring-gai, St Ives, Turramurra, Wahroonga, and Upper Northern Beaches, the Bobbo features four ride distances—27km, 57km, 80km, and 104km—catering to all abilities.

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist looking for a challenge or a casual rider keen to enjoy Sydney’s spectacular landscapes, there’s an option for you. The iconic course winds through Bobbin Head, Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, and West Head, offering a unique mix of stunning rolling hills, scenic waterways, and well-maintained roads lined with eager-to-help volunteer road marshals.

More than just a cycling event, the Bobbo raises crucial funds for Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney, supporting crisis support and suicide prevention services. A variety of other local charities also benefit from funds raised, ensuring the event has a lasting community impact.

Every Bobbo rider will enjoy an outstanding event experience, with fully stocked rest stops, on-course support from first-aid and roaming bike mechanics to dedicated traffic management for a safe and smooth ride. Participants can also take advantage of free training plans to help them prepare for the challenge.

After the ride, all participants can kick back and soak up the atmosphere at the Bobbo Village in Karuah Park, Turramurra. With fantastic offerings from our event partners, plus a variety of food and drink trucks, it’s the perfect place to celebrate your ride. Plus, every rider will receive a finisher medal to commemorate their achievement!

This year, there’s even more incentive to get involved with incredible top fundraising prizes, including a $2,000 Trek bike for the top individual fundraiser, a $2,000 Ride and Seek tour discount for the second-highest fundraiser and a $1,095 Verve Portraits photography package for third place!

Registrations are still open, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this unforgettable event and start your fundraising journey today:
