A new era of dementia care has arrived in the heart of Cherrybrook. Videri Australia has officially opened its 24th residence, offering local families a revolutionary alternative to traditional, large-scale aged care facilities.
Designed on an innovative “small-home” model, the new site supports just 10 residents. It is a deliberate departure from clinical institutions, functioning instead as a genuine family home where 24/7 care is provided by a dedicated team of Resident Care staff and “Homemakers.”
For families in the Hills District and Hornsby, specialised local options have historically been limited.
As Australia’s population ages, dementia has become the nation’s leading cause of death, with approximately 466,500 Australians currently living with the condition.

The opening has drawn strong support from the Federal Member for Berowra, The Hon Julian Leeser MP, who recently toured the home.
