I want to sincerely thank everyone who reached out after my recent Facebook post about receiving ongoing threats from a volunteer associated with Julian Leeser’s team.
Threats and intimidation have no place in our community. My focus remains on staying connected and continuing to work within the community I know and love. I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by such kind, generous, and supportive people, and your messages of encouragement have meant a great deal to me.
The person responsible was arrested on 14 August and will appear before Hornsby Local Court in September. I’ve been advised that he is a 76-year-old male from Cowan. I also want to acknowledge the excellent work of the Hornsby detectives for their swift and professional response.
